Gartner adds only TestPlant in 2014 MQ, premiering as a Visionary.

London, UK – September 3, 2014 – TestPlant, the maker of the eggPlant range of software quality tools, today announced that Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, has recognized TestPlant as a Visionary in its August 24, 2014 Magic Quadrant (MQ) for Integrated Software Quality Suites. TestPlant is the only company to have been added to this year’s MQ which is widely recognized as the industry’s authoritative source for assessing vendor competitiveness based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.

“We believe inclusion in the Magic Quadrant is really important news for large organisations looking to find new tools and solutions to the problems of software quality and the high costs of testing” said George Mackintosh, TestPlant CEO. “We look forward to working with enterprise customers as they tackle the challenges of agile, DevOps and the digital transformations of their businesses.”

We feel Gartner’s considered opinions echo the findings from the TestPlant 2014 User Survey which recorded “ease of use” as the #1 reason to buy eggPlant tools. This was closely followed by product feature richness and environment flexibility. Also noted were the very high levels of customer satisfaction in TestPlant technical support.
