Vine Server OverviewVine Server is VNC software that is offered for free by TestPlant that you can run on any computer that you want to be able to access remotely. Whether that is the computer right in front of you or the other side of the world, remote connectivity is made easy with Vine Server. Some of the ways that it can be used include: Helpdesk, education, remote system administration, telecommuting and family technical support, to name a few. Vine Server is designed specifically for the Mac OS X platform. In order to connect to Vine Server you must use a VNC Viewer. TestPlant offers Vine Viewer on the Mac OS X platform for this purpose. Vine Server is available for the Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 operating systems free of charge. To learn more about Vine Server on each operating system please click on the desired menu item on the left hand side of the screen. Other VNC servers are available for almost every operating system.
