The Power of Mac, The Freedom of Windows

eggPlant Server provides a centralized facility for Microsoft Windows© users to build, store, manage and execute Eggplant automated test cases irrespective of the platform to be tested (Windows, Linux, Unix, Symbian S60, Mac, etc).

As a self-contained, self-administering appliance built on the Mac operating system and leveraging the power of Mac hardware, once deployed either in a rack or on a desktop and connected to a company’s internal network, eggPlant Server gives organizations a powerful tool to simplify, improve and automated QA processes easier, faster and cheaper than ever before.

How It Works

eggPlant Server is composed of two parts, a server and a lightweight client. The server is responsible for managing eggPlant sessions and serving the eggPlant user interface to the client. The client, installed on a Windows® desktop, is responsible for displaying eggPlant on the user’s local desktop giving the user the impression of using eggPlant on their local machine.

On LANs where connections between the server and client are 100 Mbits/sec or greater the user sees little difference in the way eggPlant performs compared with a native application.

eggPlant Server serves as a platform on which multiple copies of eggPlant can be deployed. Depending on the number of instances of eggPlant that are required, TestPlant offers various appliance models to suit all needs. Contact TestPlant now to discuss your requirements or...
